Amanda Petersen is a senior at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. Although she is getting her BFA in Graphic Design she plans on going onto graduate school for Textile Design. After studying abroad in the UAE and the United Kingdom for the last five months and interning at Noel Stewart Millinery while in London, Amanda plans on returning to London for graduate school after receiving her BFA.
Throughout the summer, she will be working on getting her portfolio up to speed and ready for graduate applications as well as starting to work on her senior capstone project due Spring 2014. This site will be a place to post her most recent projects that she is working on as well as things that are inspiring her every day.

Thank you! I have to ask…did you get to design fancy hats and fascinators for Ascot when you worked at the millinery? What a cool thing for your resume!
I don’t believe I helped with any hats for Ascot but I did help complete the production for SS13 as well as some head pieces for fashion week. I’m excited to have this opportunity on my CV!
